Educator resource collection // ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College
The Next Education Workforce team at ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College aspires to improve outcomes for both learners and educators. We worked with them to make the idea of dynamic student grouping feel concrete to educators who may be unfamiliar with this concept. The final product was a collection of guides that show how educator teams at three schools regrouped students over the course of a single day.
MLFTC’s Next Education Workforce team wanted to make the abstract concept of dynamic student grouping feel concrete to educators. To meet this need, NL&D collaborated with Next Education Workforce team program managers and a graphic designer to:
Clarify the end product that would best meet the team’s needs (e.g., protocol, guide, map),
Generate a resource template to assist program managers in collecting notes and sketches that would ultimately inform the guides, and
Collaboratively draft guides and facilitate cross-team feedback cycles.
